Holiday Road.

Greg and I made the decision awhile back to use Thanksgiving as a vacation.  I haven’t had enough time off to allow for a relaxing vacation, not after doctor and dentist appointments and family obligations.  Right now, we need some time to ourselves…away from home.  So, we will be headed up to Aspen.  Greg has some interest in downhill skiing for the first time in a decade and I have some interest in snowshoeing, but those two things will depend on there being enough snow in the Aspen-Snowmass area.  As someone who is a huge fan of traditional Thanksgiving, I will be sucking it up when we enjoy Turkey Day at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.  

Two weekends after Thanksgiving, we’ll be flying out to Wisconsin and staying with my parents.  It has been too long since we visited with them.  It’ll be a short visit, but better than nothing, right?
