(This comes from the 30 Days of Truth meme, an ongoing blogging project that I hoped to finish by the end of the year…maybe by the end of January?)
Day #24 - Make a playlist to someone, and explain why you chose all the songs. (Just post the titles and artists and letter)
This is going to be lame because I don’t have it in me right now to make playlists to people.
Dear Elliptical,
Oh, how glad I am we have reunited this winter. When I returned into your “arms” before Christmas, I thought to myself “All I Want for Christmas is You”(Mariah Carey).
Now I found a steady schedule to meet with you and all our old favorite songs are played, like “Cradle of Love” (Billy Idol) and “Back in Black” (AC/DC). Even some of the guilty pleasures come up with “Oops…I Did It Again” (Britney Spears) and “I’m Too Sexy” (Right Said Fred).
I can’t forget about “Lightning Crashes” (Live) and how perfect it is for cooling down the last five minutes I work my legs and pump my arms.
I know, I know, “It’s My Life” (Bon Jovi) became my anthem for getting back into shape well before I knew you, but it always gets me motivated and well, you seem to like it, too.
Before long, I hope “New York Groove” (Kiss) comes up on the iPod to represent getting back in the exercise groove with you.
Love, Rachel
