Call for Entries: Patients for a Moment

Words tell part of our story as we blog, but pictures often complete that story.

So instead of words, I would like to include photographs of life with your chronic condition(s) to create a Patients for a Moment Wordless Wednesday on August 24.

For inspiration from others living with chronic illness who are supplementing words with photographs, please visit the Waiting with Diabetes or diabetes made visible groups on Flickr.

Submissions are due on Sunday, August 21 at 9pm MDT. Please include the following in an e-mail to [email protected]:

1. Your Name (as you would like it to appear)

2. Your Blog Name and its URL

3. Your Blog Post and its URL

4. A brief one or two sentence description about your submission, including your chronic condition(s).

(In the meantime, please visit the current edition of Patients for a Moment at FibroDAZE, which explores happy places found in spite of chronic illness.)

    Excellent idea Rachel!

However, one of my chronic conditions is IBS…hmm..not sure if you’d want a picture of that! Maybe I’ll take one of the toilet?

  3. Fantastic idea! I have been taking a series of pictures that just might fit neatly into your PFAM wordless wednesday. Really looking forward to seeing what other folks submit.
You and Kathy have set the bar high for me! I hope my idea will be as intriguing, innovative, and entertaining as yours!
