Take it easy, Rachel. Running is not for everyone and don’t ram your head against the brick wall trying to make it happen. You tried it and it was not for you at this time.
My carpal tunnel has now been diagnosed as acute tendonitis up the entire length of my arm. I just got back from Whole Foods where some kid sold me a $16 tube of homeopathic ointment specifically made for tendonitis.
Nope, I don’t run – haven’t since middle school – well except for those times I was chasing son #2 throught the yard…
I did some cross country running in high school; since then I’ve mostly just run for the bus or train. I do walk, sometimes trying to walk as fast as possible. Would that work as an alternative. Good luck.
Dude, I’m SO not a runner either. Except basketball, but that’s different. And you’re right, there are so many other ways to get out and hit the trails.
I too have been trying to stay off my electronic devices for a while before bed.
