You heard it here first.
I am committing myself to completing the Bolder Boulder 10k on Memorial Day (12 weeks from tomorrow). No, it’s not anything like the 2-day charity walk I did five years ago where I walked 26.2 miles one day and completed another two miles the second day. However, it’s a fitness goal that I know isn’t totally unrealistic. And, well, I want to prove to my doctor in a couple weeks that I am still committed to this diet and exercise thing to manage my diabetes.
I don’t know how much of it I’ll actually run, if any, though that’s fine because plenty of people walk the Bolder Boulder. (Um, right?)
Awesome!! We’re thinking about doing it, but aren’t sure yet.
